Head of Digital Services Ricoh - Managing Director Orbid & UpFront

As head of Digital Services for Ricoh, while also fulfilling the role of Managing Director of Orbid & UpFront, you’ll become responsible for driving the development of digital solutions, enhancing their technical capabilities and optimizing their commercial aspects.

Job description:

Strategic Leadership: As a dynamic leader you will drive strategic initiatives and shape the future of our Digital Service lines. You will set the course for success, designing & executing strategic plans in order to achieve our long-term goals by leading and mobilizing teams.

Management: As Managing Director of Orbid and UpFront with sites in Ghent, Lokeren, Geel and Nijvel, you will manage their day-to-day operations. In collaboration with the other managers, you will lead and support the staff to achieve their individual goals and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and excellence.

Commercial Development: Actively participate in strategic networking events & sponsorships. Visiting customers to create and maintain good networking relationships & cultivate partnerships essential for expanding our market presence & maximizing sales opportunities

Mergers & Acquisitions: You’re responsible for finding and integrating new acquisition opportunities for Orbid & Upfront.

As Head of Digital Services you’ll be reporting to the CEO of Ricoh BeLux and become a member of the Ricoh BeLux board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assuring budget achievements of Revenue & Profit by developing a business plan, annual budget plans, mitigation plans and sales strategy that ensures attainment of the company goals.
  • People management by providing leadership, ownership & coaching. Having one-to-one reviews for effective communication and understanding training & development needs while working on improvement of activity and performance.
  • Daily management by creating a high-performing team and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and excellence. Defining clear roles and responsibilities for the business lines and companies.
  • Development of Digital Solutions, guaranteeing the market presence and working on the go-to-market coverage.
  • Regularly reporting to the CEO about the actual situation of Digital Services business lines and companies.
  • Improve focus on the company strategic goals in a manner of development, business continuity and succession planning. Create synergies within the companies.
  • Visiting direct customers, attending events, creating a good network and finding new acquisition opportunities.


Recommended Skills:

  • Master level or equivalent experience in IT or a similar B2B environment.
  • Extended experience in sales management and leading a large entity with multiple direct reports.
  • Extensive management skills and experience in budget preparation and management
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • Relationship builder with a track record in merges & acquisition.
  • Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset and leadership, coaching skills.
